The inspiration for WildWood Bunnies is simply a desire to see rabbits at their happiest and healthiest, adopting the natural behaviours in the home that they’d display in the wild.
For 30 years we’ve learnt what wonderful, inquisitive and playful creatures rabbits can be if they’re given the environment to bring out the best in them. But also how complex they are, very sensitive to their environments, where boredom, restricted space, incorrect diet, loneliness, and excessive noise (and smells) can affect their happiness. Enrichment is a key factor in this and the reason why WildWood Bunnies exists.
Our products are proven
All our Havens have been extensively researched and architecturally designed for maximum sturdiness and use. They are manufactured in the US by BinkyBunny. Our own bunnies have enjoyed and made Maze Havens their own for 30 years – we’ve had more bunnies than Havens in that time! All our bunnies have opted to use them as their main bedroom – day and night – as well as their main source of stimulation. Their feeling of safety comes from multiple entrances and exists – important for such a prey animal to feel that they have more than one exit.
Our ambition for the business doesn’t stop with the Havens. We aim to improve the lives of as many rabbits as we can. We’re open to developing new partnerships, working with rescues and schools, and would like to hear from suppliers of other natural products to help expand our range.
